Mercer County residents have the 16th highest average property tax bill in the Nation. In the past 10 years, County taxes and fees have increased by 160%. In these tough economic times, none of us can afford to pay higher taxes. Russ Wojtenko and Jim Castelize will fight to hold the line on taxes and keep more of your money in your pocket.
Cut Wasteful and Unnecessary Spending!
Last year the Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders passed the largest budget in the history of Mercer County, and they burdened the County with a HUGE budget deficit. Russ Wojtenko and Jim Castelize believe in limited government and fiscal responsibility. They understand the only way to lower taxes is to cut wasteful and unnecessary spending.
Revive Mercer County’s Economy!
With its key location and extensive transportation system, Mercer County can easily serve the needs of a variety of businesses and industries. Russ Wojtenko and Jim Castelize will take an active role in attracting new industries and expanding existing businesses by maintaining and investing in Mercer County’s infrastructure.
